TV Manufacturers Looking to Lower Prices

Black Friday, cheap TVs, cheap laptops, TV mirror

LG, the second largest seller of liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions has suggested that the downturn in how many televisions that are currently being sold will likely extend throughout next year and are likely into the fall.  And LG is not the only company that will likely be impacted by the fact that most people have already upgraded their television and it is getting harder to convince people to buy more televisions.  This does not mean that the industry is completely out of the market, however, as researchers believe that there will be an improvement in sales late next year.

Their reason for the enhancement by LG regarding its future sales prospects was due to the fact that it had lost money every quarter for the last year and the company did not want investors to get nervous as to the future health of the company and the overall television industry.  The demand for televisions has sunk low enough so that companies have had to offer Cheap TVs to encourage people to make purchases and this has cut into the profits for most display companies.  LG, in particular, has been significantly impacted by the downturn in television sales because over half of its profits are attached to sales of large televisions.

One of the reasons why LG is expecting that the television industry will recover from its slow sales is because there are a number of significant sporting events that will encourage people to buy televisions next year, one of those games being the London Olympics.
